brilliant in it's simplicity. Sometimes less is indeed more.

There is so much left unsaid here. Perhaps it's not broken, just not turned off all the way. Or perhaps a cat lives in the house and likes to play with the falling drops.

Or maybe it really is just time to fix the faucet. Who can say?

What one can do in six sentences...

It occurred to me, suddenly, in the middle of the night, that it also might not be the faucet. It might be something else.

Dripping.

No, I'm sure it's the faucet. Don't worry. It's perfectly safe to turn the lights out.

The best thing about this particular Six, which I think warrants none of these easy "You go girl" accolades, is that cj, who commented on your "Fairy Tales and Reason" Six hasn't felt compelled to weigh in.

When that happens to my faucet, I just stick a wad of toilet paper into it. You have to change it now and then, but it's a lot cheaper than a plumber.

P.S. Thank you, Harry, for reminding me of Melissa's excellent "Fairy Tales and Reason" and cj's right-on-the-money comments.

Good to the last drop!

I'd like to have seen some development at the end, something other than another drip. Otherwise, why six drips and not five, or seven or ... except that this is 6S of course.

I've changed my mind. The fact that it's another drip at the end, and not something else ... it works, doesn't it. To change it for something else, that would be a different story entirely.

I have a leaky spicket that my 4 year old son just broke off the handle to outside. It also just drip, drip, drips.

That sucks, I hate working on plumbing, I always screw it up/
