She liked to take the little things: a glass, a shaker, a pen. Later in her head, she reconstructs the circumstances surrounding the objects. He drank from this the night they did shots of tequila. A salt crystal got into her cuticle and burned. It was last used to grade final papers before graduation. And no one ever notices the missing miniature pieces of history, until now.
