Last Meal

by Diana Backhouse

She ate her muesli and watched without emotion as his head slumped onto his half-eaten breakfast. She had known that he would not take advice and change to oats to help reduce his high cholesterol. He was a greedy pig! It had been easy to gradually add to his daily plateful - first extra bacon and another slice of black pudding. After that some more sausages and fried bread. Then it had been just a matter of time.

Diana Backhouse has been retired for three years, but she finds more to do now than ever before. Writing, drawing and painting vie with the garden for her attention.

Oh, but what a yummy way to go. And with a tummy feeling very full!

I wonder if, perhaps, you are the reincarnation of Agatha Christie ? Hmmm, Diane?
