Living with a Stranger

by Justice

From morning until night, I must stay out of sight. I do not even recognize what I have become. My skin is cold to the human touch, and this bleeding heart has a hard time beating. I murmured a vow of silence, and now do not even hear when I think aloud. No more than alive, in a word... overrun. I am holding out for the day the clouds clear, and we can speak the words I Love You again.

Justice is an exasperated husband who, after 20 years, is still in love with his wife.

Been there, more than once. Does anyone have a relationship where this doesn't happen?

I think it's time to move on, Justice. She doesn't deserve you.
