by Ben Cotton
He had been led to believe that dystopia would be more interesting. There were no roving gangs chasing each other through the deserts, just average people blankly going about their day, powerless against tyranny. People just like him, walking to their offices on a gloomy February morning. Where were the people who could do something about all this—the scrappy heroes bringing justice back to the world? As he neared his office, he asked himself why no one was doing anything. When he opened the door, his assistant said, "Good morning, Senator Chamberlain."
