by Patrick Parks
Amber is the abortion baby you see on billboards next to the highway, the one sweetly sleeping below the words, “I was a miracle before I was born.” Amber is seventeen now and pregnant. She wants her baby to be a miracle, too, but what are the chances? The baby’s father is a loser. He doesn’t want to be a father. He wants Amber to get rid of it pronto, but all Amber wants is to sleep because she is so very, very tired.
