Evan’s Revenge

Kill it or let it live? Evan watched the spider scurry along the baseboard, veer across the bathroom floor, and freeze. He had nothing against any of God’s creatures, but his mother was something of an arachnophobe. He could do her a solid. “No TV until homework!” she called from the kitchen using her no-nonsense voice. Evan stepped over the spider and went to find his math book.
