The Colour of Love

I’ve fallen in love three times; firstly, when Jenny Green lent me her crayons because all of mine were broken. The second time was after spending a year in the company of Miss Brown. I wasn’t even discouraged when she left on maternity leave; she was the best English teacher I ever had. The third time was when Scarlett Johansson hit me. Her poster, in the role of Lucy, was on the cinema door when it smacked me full in the face, resulting in a bloody nose. A stranger called Indigo handed me a tissue to stem the flow and later we went for a coffee; we’ve been together ever since.
