Grandmother

My grandmother died at age 100 peacefully in her sleep. It only took 20 milligrams of Ativan and five shots of morphine as she was never about medicine her entire life and was always stoic in her refusal. Imagine the shock to her system from that truckload of heavies. Morphine, I’m told, is given purposely in small doses, thus multiple shots. Mother said the same thing after her heart attack and emergency room run: they gave her two shots of nitro, and three shots of morphine, and she says she didn’t even feel the effect. I guess Grandmother did not feel the effect either.
