I cut my hair, a drastic change. Everyone told me I look fabulous, I look bold, I look mature. My father looks at me like his little girl has finally grown up. I catch him watching as my mother snaps my picture and I feel beautiful. It’s how he should have looked at me when I turned thirteen. But maybe he did, and I was too oblivious then.
