by Judy Bierman
There was a time, now nearly a year ago, that life was mine to orchestrate and enjoy. It seems even now, that the swift and abrupt change threw me into another world; one where darkness and fear did abide. Suddenly I became a puppet, led about, by hands that were not my own. Fear bred bear in this strange new world. It was a place I hated, and one that even now can only be modified... never will my world ever be the same! Fear will always stalk me, but faith, I've learned, can overcome, for each day still holds miracles that even leukemia cannot ignore.
