The Insect Apocalypse

I arrived to answer the question as to whether or not insects are going extinct. The audience was impatient and hungry. No bagels had been delivered from the bodega. "The insect apocalypse is not here," I began. A man in the front row, unlit cigar in his mouth, tightly-folded arms, scowled at me. He later introduced himself as Buzz and asked me, "Can't we all just die in peace?"
