Searching

People find me attractive. People find me intelligent. People find me if they are good at playing hide and seek. People find me a sitter for the evening when my wife and I want to see a local performance of The Threepenny Opera. People find me amusing and/or unusual when I tell them that extraterrestrials can find me using a microchip implant that would cause cancer if I were to remove it from my neck. Sometimes I find myself unbearably sad when I consider the possibility that that nice Irish fellow still hasn’t found what he’s looking for — and whether anyone of us ever will.
