Killer Phrase

by Diane Becker

Man plankton. Trinket tits. Killing in stockings. She liked the first one best. They were in bed when he said it and it had made her giggle. He muttered trinket tits at the bus stop - which embarrassed her - but it was the third that disturbed her most of all because it was in her head when she woke up and that's where it stayed.
