I'm going to New York City. I'm going to New York City. Peggy sang that inside her head. She didn't tell her coworkers why she needed time off, or her husband, or her children, or her favorite barista. She told some writer friends and her dog, but the writer friends didn't know her coworkers or her family, her barista only listened for the phrase "keep the change," and no one else spoke dog. So Peggy went to the Big Apple and lost herself in a pip.
