by Emily Anne Epstein
I think of my boyfriend like my grandmother thinks of an Atlantic City slot machine. I've got a bloody mary in my left hand and a fistful of pennies in the other. I'm just sitting here so the woman in the aqua suit keeps bringing me the free drinks. Occasionally, I run out of pennies and think maybe... I should move to another machine. I don't. I know if I get up, someone else is gonna sit down and win the jackpot.
