Last Meal

She ate her muesli and watched without emotion as his head slumped onto his half-eaten breakfast. She had known that he would not take advice and change to oats to help reduce his high cholesterol. He was a greedy pig! It had been easy to gradually add to his daily plateful - first extra bacon and another slice of black pudding. After that some more sausages and fried bread. Then it had been just a matter of time.
