Beautiful Alcoholics

by Ashley Sandeman

I’m haunted by the faces of beautiful alcoholics. Within the ruins of their lives I see the shambles of my own life and yet without one another we’d be nothing. Their money helps me survive. The drinks I serve help them survive. The situation is killing us both, but we endure. What else is there to do?
