I think I'll prefer ever on to know your voice as Maximillian the Strong Man . . . something resonated there as sharp as many of the knife points, dead'eye on in these one-a-day for six plus rest tales of the macabre. Since I haven't a violent tirade to leave you, (for I'm smiling too much - both from the reads and the radio DJ show you presented), I'll sign off with my humble "Congrats" ... for the great tales and their tellings.
Was the cover the nude the artist painted which couldn't be parted with (except under dire circumstances)? Shoot, I didn't want to give any endings away. Heaven of a bang you packed into all of these ... including the i-phone technique and the multi-tech creation/presentation.

Thanks for the kind words Kate and Joe (and Kate thanks for double posting the praise). And as I said elsewhere, I'm glad everyone likes the addition of the audio versions. I think the audio readings give the stories a little extra punch.
I can't take credit for the cover, but I agree, it fits the stories perfectly. I'm not even sure who the artist is. But credit at least goes to Rob McEvily for putting it together. Maybe he can provide more info on the artist.
Although I don't think you gave the ending away Kate. Unless anyone took "Shoot" as a pun.

Teddy, Jeanette, Paul, Laurita, and Michael: thanks so much. I'm glad the stories are resonating with everyone. I tend to agree with Michael and Laurita -- "A Holy One" is my favorite in the bunch. It was the last one I wrote and it just flowed on it's own. Like a good song, it wrote itself. I had something completely different originally with Christ and a vulture.
