All Good Things...

a "delay" announcement from Six Sentences

Well... it just wouldn't be real life if things always ran according to plan! An unforeseen delay has pushed the release of Six Sentences, Volume 2 to an undisclosed date in early April. The bad news: you have to wait a little bit longer to check it out. The good news: it's still AMAZING! Feel free to take out your frustrations (and call Robert McEvily a "bozo") in the comments section below (all comments will be entered into a lottery - six commenters will win prizes on the day the book is released). In the meantime, fasten your seatbelt and enjoy a peek inside a sci-fi novel - your driver is the one-and-only Adam J. Whitlatch...

6S

Six Sentences offers a sincere apology for the delay, and would like to finish the phrase it started: ...come to those who wait!

It's going to be so hard to have to wait. But I know it'll be well worth it.

"Waiting" and "writing" are distinguished by a mere 1.37 inches on my keyboard.

Once upon a time, a Rob collected grist and took it to the mill and there it sits still, but it wasn't his fault when a publishing breakthrough came to an unexpected temporary halt.

Rome and Amazement were not built nor print-produced in but a day. We know though Rob's no Bozo, though he can clown around with the best of 'em any old day.

Pagliacci & 6SV2, we anticipate.

I'm sure it's supreme awesomeness will still be there when it does get published! And anticipation makes the heart heart grow fonder. Wait, that's distance or seperation or something. ah well.

Ah, you're such a tease, Rob... and was just perfecting the art of counting backwards from 6. Looking forward to when it arrives. Peace, Linda

You really should consider dropping the letter Y from the end of your last name.

You know the old saying: Good things come to those who wait! However long it takes, I will wait, those this delay does possibly work to my advantage.

the longer the wait the thirstier I am!

A little early for April Fool's Day there, Rob! Like Tom Petty said: "The waiting is the hardest part."

This means good things are yet to come!! And I can't imagine anyone calling our fearless leader a bozo--especially after you've promised to publish us!!

Who cares if the hookers show up late, the beer truck gets hijacked, and we can't get the party started on time.....but a delay in the release of 6SV2????? There are no words to mask the sadness and disappointment.... I don't want to sound like a crack whore junkie craving a fix but I think I speak for many when I say we can't wait to see it!!

but...but...you promised if i provided the photo of harry in his tutu, the volume would be out on the 31st!! do you KNOW how difficult it was to photo shop that thing??

next thing you'll tell me is there isn't a santa claus.

Just surprise us, Rob. It'll be worth the wait...

Don't worry about us poor slobs, Rob. We can wait until that "undisclosed date." Sure, you're a bozo, and I mean that in the best possible way, since I happen to be quite partial to bozos, coming from a long line of bozos myself. The world would be a dismal place without people who are willing to don funny wigs, big red noses, polka-dotted outfits and big floppy shoes, dancing around and scaring small children. I, personally, would rather hang out with bozos than with a bunch of morticians, for instance, not that there's anything wrong with morticians; I'm sure they enjoy having a cold one now and then, just like the rest of us. So, while I'm waiting for the bad news to turn into good news, I think I'll go out for a quick, well-organized run, because I always run "according to plan."

Rob -

My Momma taught me years ago "never slap the hand that feeds you"...it will be ready when it is ready and I am thankful for that.

It would be fantastic if we could get it in the UK without paying oversea postage

Now I'm going to have some serious problems with my travel plans.

My trip to the moon on a giraffe just won't be the same without 6S Volume 2...

Wish I found this site sooner, so I can stomach the wait. Such interesting pieces, so easy to stomach in a sitting.
