My Blind Date

by Jeanette Cheezum

I started to panic, all my friends were going to Spring Dance next week and I didn’t have a date. My brother told me not to worry, he had just the guy; Frank not only liked to dance, but had a secret crush on me. The magic night arrived and he showed up at my door with dandelions, and when I looked up at him I noticed he had bolts in his ears. Good thing he wasn’t much of a conversationalist because his breath was deadly. His feet were clunky, so twists and turns were awkward. My brother laughed out loud when I came home: How’d you like Mr. Stein?

So is the next date with the Werewolf? Careful...that could lead to heavy petting!
