What is Honesty?

Honesty is a good thing, right? We all think so. But an honest man knows that there is a reality beyond himself; he adjusts what he believes is true to conform to that reality. An honest man rigorously examines himself and ruthlessly purges all falsehoods from his outlook and worldview. An honest man countenances no counterfeit reality. An honest man is a terrifying thing.
